WATCH BAND LINK PIN REMOVER

Use this handy tool to remove the pins from links to shorten bracelets on most watches yourself without marring the bracelet finish.
This tool is for removing round pins from watches. It is not for flat leaf pins, spring bars or rivets. The round pins come in 2 varieties, split pins and compression barrell pins. The split pin may look like a screw, but it is a pin. Typically engraved on the link is an arrow that shows you the direction in which to push out the pin. The compression barrel pin has a sold pin with a collar that fits inside a link and lockes the pin in place. It is smooth on either end and does not look like a screw. They can be typically removed in either direction. DO NOT LOOSE THE COLLAR, you will need to reinsert them.
